Play by the Jinx rule “rockets buy space, minigun cashes it”: stay in Fishbones when the fight is still dangerous, then swap to Pow-Pow only once CC lands, a diver commits, or the engage tools that kept you out are already gone
In lane, your cleanest touch is often to splash the last-hit—use rockets to kill the minion and tag the champion standing beside it, instead of walking up for raw short-range DPS that Jinx has not earned yet
Jinx should fight for the first Get Excited! proc, not for a perfect target, because the first kill, tower, or epic monster can change her whole posture on the spot, and recent data shows she is already strong from even starts and especially punishing when she gets that early lead
Against dive, make the first few seconds as boring as possible. Start in rockets so you can keep hitting while backing up, and put Chompers where the diver has to finish the path, usually at your own feet or just behind you. Do not rush into minigun because you want the DPS number; swap only once they are actually on top of you, hard-CCed, or the second engage tool is already gone. W is usually better as a follow-up slow after someone else has created contact than as your opener. If one diver dies first, re-evaluate instantly, because that reset often turns the whole fight.
Jinx receives massively increased Move Speed and Attack Speed whenever she helps kill or destroy an enemy champions epic jungle monster, or structure.
Jinx modifies her basic attacks by swapping between Pow-Pow, her minigun and Fishbones, her rocket launcher. Attacks with Pow-Pow grant Attack Speed, while attacks with Fishbones deal area of effect damage, gain increased range, but drain Mana and attack slower.
Jinx uses Zapper, her shock pistol, to fire a blast that deals damage to the first enemy hit, slowing and revealing it.
Jinx throws out a line of snare grenades that explode after 5 seconds, lighting enemies on fire. Flame Chompers will bite enemy champions who walk over them, rooting them in place.
Jinx fires a super rocket across the map that gains damage as it travels. The rocket will explode upon colliding with an enemy champion, dealing damage to it and surrounding enemies based on their missing Health.
